To be at peace for what we do not have

I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. Continuous as the stars that shine And twinkle on the milky way, They stretched in never-ending line Along the margin of a bay: Ten thousand saw I at a glance, Tossing their heads in sprightly dance. The waves beside them danced; but they Out-did the sparkling waves in glee: A poet could not but be gay, In such a jocund company: I gazed—and gazed—but little thought What wealth the show to me had brought: For oft, when on my couch I lie In vacant or in pensive mood, They flash upon that inward eye Which is the bliss of solitude; And then my heart with pleasure fills, And dances with the daffodils.

The Road Not Taken-Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveller, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh! Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,

Live life to the fullest

Don’t let go of hope,
Hope gives you the strength to keep going
When you feel like giving up.
Don’t ever quit believing in yourself;
As long as you believe you can
You will have a reason for trying.
Don’t let anyone hold your happiness in their hands,
Hold it in yours, so it will always be within your reach.
Don’t measure success or failure by material wealth
But by how you feel;
Our feelings determine the richness of our lives.
Don’t let bad moments overcome you,
Be patient and they will pass.
Don’t hesitate to reach out for help,
We all need it from time to time.
Don’t run away from love but towards love,
Because it is your deepest joy.
Don’t wait for what you want to come to you,
Go after it with all that you are;
Knowing that life will meet you halfway.
Don’t feel like your’re lost,
When plans and dreams fall short of your hopes;
Anytime you learn something new,
About yourself or about life,
You have progressed.
Don’t do anything that takes away
From your self-respect,
Feeling good about yourself
Is essential to feeling good about life.
Don’t ever forget how to laugh,
Or be too proud to cry,
Or too stubborn to smile;
Don’t ever forget a friend who truly loves you,
As it could be that friend who is true to your needs,
Don’t ever forget who helped you grow as your need
For more seeds may often re-appear.
